India Project
Soulika Studio is involved in a small voluntary art initiative in Pushkar, India.
The project takes place in a girls’ school supported by the Fior di Loto Foundation which helps to ensure that many of the students have access to education.

Colour Lessons
In this context, Soulika Studio organises regular colour lessons for girls aged between seven and eleven.
I travel to pushkar twice a year to give these lessons myself on a voluntary basis.
The sessions focus on learning how to mix colours, working with a brush and developing fine motor skills through simple, practical exercises.
They also offer a moment of creative exploration that is not usually part of their usual school programme.
Conversations
Over time, the intention is to extend this work to older students and to introduce conversations about painted heritage and why its preservation matters.
Connections
By building connections with professional conservators, particularly those working with mural paintings, the project hopes to open perspectives that might otherwise remain distant.

Two Initiatives. Same Intention.
This initiative exists alongside the studio’s conservation work in Belgium.
In both contexts, the intention is the same: to care for painting and to recognise the importance of preserving cultural heritage for future generations.

Shop
In parallel, Soulika Studio also brings a small selection of items from Pushkar to Belgium.
Twenty percent of the benefits are given directly to the Fior di Loto Foundation to support the school.
The remaining part contributes to the development of Soulika Studio and allows me to purchase the materials needed for the activities at the school.
